Importer/Exporter of Latex.

First I'll start with my life:

I'm not sure if anyone understands yet...
I might be George Costanza.
Gahh! Imma be bald!
A small realization that DC made today.

It'll be...

One month till it starts too.
I'm getting excited.

So across most of Canada last week for 3-4 days we experienced Summer weather. Highs reaching 25 or warmer. Which is unheard of in March. Those 3 days at X were spent outside for nobody went to class. On Thursday we got a blow up pool and bought all the couches outside. We played soccer like it was going outa style. Ran topless like it was summer. I burnt my nose. But all good things must come to an end for it is winter again and a nice layer of snow covers the surface of our praised soccer field.

Sorry, this post doesn't really have a theme, just random thoughts that keep popping into my head, and then I lay them down.

I got kinda sick because my heater turned off after the hot streak we had. So I've been mixing Tylenol, Benadryl, Halls and Vitamin C pills into my Tea. And boy does it ever help.

And what is the rush to get better? Beer Mile. The best part is I might have a chance to get the W for the guys team. Crazy to think that the smallest guy on the team out drinking and jogging everyone... Time will tell, wish me luck.

Hopefully though, I dont end up like this guy.

Oh, a good tune I have been listening to fairly often will make it's NPS debut today. I'd say about 1000 of those views are from me.

Enjoy some Seinfeld humour, SM puking and a good tune.
RJ

By the way, AD had a birthday yesterday, the kid is 21. I guess he ain't no kid anymore. Either way, a hopeful for the 2016 Oly Marathon. All the best to him.

Sorry for the big spaces between thoughts, Blogger is being weird tonight.
I try to make them smaller buit they keep getting bigger! ahh!

The Red Light District

Well s***. I don't think I can do any better than that post by DC, look at it, pictures, quotes, videos, words... the whole shebang. I'll do what I can though. So as he stated just rocking base miles, gunna be a big build up, so nothing to interesting about jogging is gunna hit here for a couple weeks at least. Anyways, starting back up again always has its problems.

1. What are we training for?
2. Red Lights.
3. Drinking.

Onward to short explanations of each one.

1. It's Olympic year... Duh.

2. So was out with my team for a little yog, getting things going again. 5 minutes away from campus, and boom, we get that orange hand telling us not to cross the highway. Being a highway and all we figured that it was to be a long wait. And a long wait it was, as i stood there I thought about two things, the chances of me getting hit if i crossed, and what it would be like if there were no roads. The first option reminded me of frogger, but more so of a very funny Seinfeld episode:

After about 30 seconds of contemplating of what I should do. I sprinted across the highway. All is well considering im still here.

Now about the roads, I haven't yet been back, for the last week, my running has been only on the trails.
3. St. Patricks Day was just but 3 days ago and more than half of campus is still trying to recover. Funny the whole evolution of that day, I can remember my mom coming home from Old Navy when I was but a small boy and being like "hey kids, I got you green shirts that say 'top o'the morning to you'." Then for a couple years, grade 7-9, it was kinda just another day. Then as high school continued and kids began to find drinking fun so there would be a party and stuff. Now being in university it consists of way too many Irish Car Bombs way to early in the morning, followed by endless amounts of other alcohol, then to finish the night singing of as many Irish tunes you know. You wake up the next morning still in the green clothes you fell asleep in, stumble to meal hall, and continue to recover well into the evening.

On another note, possibly less interesting but on sunday at 4pm I was on live radio. Playing music to world. It's not my radio show I was kinda a special guest because SD's normal partner was away I was asked to fill in. I dont know if I ever will get a chance to go back, but they do play some pretty good tunes, check it out it out Sundays at 4pm (Nova Scotia Time) at The FOX.

Okay, lets see here, I got a video. No pictures, but my link makes up for that. Oh, a quote.
A personal favorite.

Wait... What The F*** Is This?

Yeah, this is a blog. What exactly is the purpose of one of these things is... I really don't know. I mean nobody is going to read this thing, other than the few people that I tell to. Then depending if they find it at all funny or a good read they might show one or two more people, but I highly doubt this. Every once and a while I check to see how many people checked out the stick, and where they were from. Manly hits from Canada and a couple from Russia and USA and other places. Wait... Russia?!? Can they even read english... oh well, a view is a view.

But what are they viewing? A blog.

By who? Two Guys, we kinda just started this thing up half way through our story. I'm RJ, the other author is DC. Alright cool. Now you know us.

Whats are story? We just wanna run fast and share our journey as we attempt to reach new peaks, but also share the random times that we encounter as we attempt to such things.

p.s. If you clicked that link you got us another view.

Thanks
RJ

This City's Gunna Eat You Up and Spit You Out

72,000. The number of little blue tiles are on the walls outside of the pool. 52. The average number of laps completed in 70 minutes. This is day 13  but there is a glimmer of hope in the distance... 4 nights past, as I was going through my sexy log book, it occured to me that in high school, if I felt a muscle problem coming on, I'd just load it up with weights and press, curl, or rep the hurt right out of it in fitness class. Why did I ditch such a grand philosophy? Something hurts? LOAD IT UP WITH WEIGHT, BABY! Kill the weakness, you know? Armed with this invaluable information, over the last few days the ankle's getting better and soon the pool will be nothing but a bad memory. Who cares if I'm too stiff to walk and can't feed myself? My second option if running did't work out was the bodybuilding club anyways. Lesson learned: If it works, do it (even if it's not in Lore).

But more importantly, last week, I (almost) got mugged! On my way back from the library, 1:00 thursday night. 3 drunk-and-stumbling engineers are making their way towords me and out of nowhere, one of em says to another, "Hey, you should hit that guy!" clearly pointing to me. Yeah, great idea, just pick a fight with a random stranger. Stupid engineers and your drunk logic! So the two guys get right up in my face beside me, and the other guy reaches back, winds up, pulls up his arm - and - ...swats me with a newspaper. Right on the boob. I took it like a man, walked it off. Next time I meet a gang, I'll be ready.

Keep rockin,
DC

Stay Steady On The Path Of Love.

An event is coming that will change the look of our bottom halves forever. Everyones favorite athletic company, well maybe just CdeB's favorite, is releasing new designs for some extremely short shorts. Check 'em out March 15. Site might look fairly ghetto but they might be the most comfortable thing to barely cover my bottom half. (Just click on the words extremely short shorts, it'll take you there)

It's been way too long since I last ran. There is a hole in my heart and blank pages in my log book. These places need to be filled with long luscious miles, hearty tempos, suicidal hills, gruelling track work, fun runs, smelly fartleks (joke), and the odd race. I crave for my legs to become numb, but I dunno when to began that phase of my life again... Time will tell.

More importantly, was at quite a large party on Saturday. The best way to describe it was that there was too many dicks on the dance floor, hopefully it evened out. About the "hopefully" part, there was a dj in the house, I asked him to play that song, he did, nobody laughed. I was thrown out into the ditch where the neighbours found me. Somehow I made it home.

Ever notice peoples hair? I mean everyones is different. What i'm trying to say is: I have a reverse mullet.

Business In The Back,
Party In The Front.
Just like it should be.
